Carmen and The Giant Cement Cylinders

Here is a recent impromptu shoot I did with a friend’s sister, Carmen. This girl changes her (hair) color like a chameleon and it all looks good on her….yes, that is jealousy you hear;). I met her with red hair at her sister’s wedding (the color I wanted to photograph) and now it is burgundy (the color of wine, so I forgive her 😉 ). Her stylist went a little darker than planned…ooops. But I can’t complain because the color looks great and still makes her blue eyes pop.

When I first moved to Raleigh in 2009 this location grabbed my attention as I drove by and I knew I would have to do a shoot there sometime.I have no clue what these seemingly discarded cylinders are used for but they became a backdrop for our photoshoot as well as a canvas for street art by previous individuals.  So when Carmen told me her blond hair would be coming back we got together at this location to create the images below.

(As a disclaimer Carmen did no tagging, the can in the images below was a can that had been left behind. )
